📢 Festival Update

Due to a prolonged wet season, rising fuel prices, and ongoing uncertainty, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the Quinkan Dance Festival. The festival will now take place from 4–6 June 2027.

We know many people were looking forward to this year’s event, and we truly appreciate your understanding and continued support. To accommodate everyone who has purchased tickets, we are offering the following options:

• Option 1: Receive a full refund of your purchased tickets.
• Option 2: Hold your tickets and transfer them to the new festival dates in June 2027.

Our team remains committed to delivering a strong and vibrant festival, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to celebrate together in 2027.

Ang-Gnarra Aboriginal Corporation are pleased to announce that the Laura Quinkan Indigenous Dance Festival will be held in June 2026. The dates for the Laura Quinkan Dance Festival are 12th - 13th and 14th of June 2026. You can purchase tickets through this website for more information, see the website or follow our social platforms for regular updates.

This event is a celebration of culture, community, and connection.

We would also like to take this moment to acknowledge the Laura community and express our deepest gratitude to the Traditional Elders of this area.

Your wisdom, guidance, and ongoing cultural leadership are the foundation upon which this festival stands.

Together, we continue to celebrate and honor the rich traditions that bring us all together.

Laura is the central meeting place for people from the Cape.

As well as being home to Australia’s most significant collection of rock art, it hosts another internationally recognised celebration of Aboriginal culture, the Laura Quinkan Dance Festival.
